The services and the people providing them may be the same, but the area’s largest local cable video and Internet service provider Suddenlink Communications is about to have a new name on its regional administration building. A Tyler Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting event takes place Wednesday Nov. 1 at the building at 3015 SSE Loop 323.
Suddenlink employs more than 800 people in this area, making it one of Tyler’s largest employers, and making Tyler a second headquarters for the company’s operations across the country.

Suddenlink Communications was born in May after Cebridge Connections completed the acquisition of Cox Communications cable systems in Tyler and in other Texas cities, as well as in parts of six other states, and immediately began operating under the new name. This sign and new logo reflect that name change. |
